„Synthesia“ programa-žaidimas skirtas visiems, kas nenori švaistyti laiko ir pinigų mokytojams bei jų pamokoms, tačiau nori greičiau išmokti groti pianinu. Šioje programoje pateikta įvairaus sunkumo lygių dainų (jų yra daugiau negu 100): nuo pačių lengviausių iki skirtų pažengusiems. Dainoms begrojant ekrane matysite kokius pianino klavišus reikia spausti, kad pataikyti į taktą. Su standartine kompiuterio klaviatūra tai padaryti gana sunku, dėl to visavertėms pamokoms rekomenduojame įsigyti į USB lizdą jungiamą klavišinę klaviatūrą. Didelis pliusas yra tai, kad programos nereikia įdiegti į kompiuterį, dėl to visada galite ją paleisti tiesiai iš USB atmintinės ar išorinio kietojo disko.

Portable Synthesia is the portable version of Synthesia developed to be able to run from a USB flash drive or any other portable device.

Naming anecdotes aside, Portable Synthesia is designed to be a fun method to learn to play the piano but honestly, I have to disagree on that.
Portable Synthesia is by no means an easy method to learn the piano: I have some very basic piano notions myself and I found it extremely difficult. It could be because I was using a standard computer keyboard to test the game, and not a real music keyboard as recommended by the developer.
On the upside, I especially liked the default song selection the program includes to get you started (they’re all popular theme songs from very well-known videogames). Also, note that you can use just about any MID file with Portable Synthesia, which turns it into pretty much a never-ending musical entertainment.
